Zhu Yaming

Zhu Yaming, born on May 4, 1994, is a prominent Chinese male triple jumper who has made significant strides in the athletics world since his debut. He began competing nationally in the triple jump in 2015 and quickly ascended to elite status by the 2017 outdoor season.

In 2017, Zhu showcased his talent by winning the national title at the Chinese Athletics Championships with an impressive jump of seventeen point seventeen meters. He further solidified his reputation by achieving a personal best of seventeen point twenty-three meters at the National Games of China, where he triumphed over notable competitors, including Olympic medallist Dong Bin and Asian Games champion Cao Shuo.

That same year, Zhu claimed the gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships with a clearance of sixteen point eighty-two meters. His international experience continued as he placed seventh at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships, recording an indoor best of sixteen point eighty-seven meters, and finished eighth at the 2018 Asian Games.

Zhu's career reached a new pinnacle when he competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where he earned a silver medal in the triple jump on August 5, 2021, marking a significant achievement in his athletic journey.
