Zion Williamson

Zion Williamson, born on July sixth, two thousand, is an American professional basketball player currently showcasing his talents with the New Orleans Pelicans in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Playing the power forward position, Williamson has made a significant impact since being selected as the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft.

Before his professional career, Williamson attended Spartanburg Day School, where he emerged as a consensus five-star recruit and was ranked among the top five players in the 2018 class. His high school career was marked by remarkable achievements, including leading his team to three consecutive state championships and earning the title of South Carolina Mr. Basketball in his senior year. Additionally, he was recognized as a McDonald's All-American and was a runner-up for Mr. Basketball USA.
