Zsolt Erdei

Zsolt Erdei, born on May thirty-first, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished former professional boxer from Hungary. His boxing career spanned from two thousand to two thousand fourteen, during which he made a significant mark in the sport.

Erdei achieved remarkable success by holding world championships in two weight classes. He claimed the WBO and lineal light-heavyweight titles from two thousand four to two thousand nine, successfully defending his titles eleven times against ten different opponents. Additionally, he held the WBC cruiserweight title from two thousand nine to two thousand ten, making him the first Hungarian boxer to win world titles in two weight divisions.

Before turning professional, Erdei showcased his talent as an amateur, winning a bronze medal in the middleweight division at the two thousand Olympics. He also represented Hungary at the nineteen ninety-six Summer Olympics, further establishing his prowess in the boxing arena.
