Zvjezdan Misimović

Zvjezdan Misimović, born on June fifth, nineteen eighty-two, is a distinguished Bosnian football executive and former professional player. Currently serving as the president of FK Borac Banja Luka, he has made significant contributions to the sport both on and off the field.

As an attacking midfielder, Misimović gained prominence during his tenure with VfL Wolfsburg, where he played a pivotal role in the team's success. In the two thousand eight to two thousand nine season, he not only helped the club secure the Bundesliga title but also set a remarkable record with twenty assists, the highest in a single Bundesliga season at that time. The following season, he continued to impress with fifteen assists, finishing as the runner-up to Mesut Özil.

After a brief period with Galatasaray, Misimović took his talents to Russia, joining Dynamo Moscow, before concluding his playing career in China with Guizhou/Beijing Renhe.
