The Shibutanis have made history as two-time Olympic bronze medalists, having secured their medals at the twenty-eighteen Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. They are also celebrated for their impressive track record, which includes three World medals—silver in two thousand sixteen and bronze in two thousand eleven and two thousand seventeen—as well as being crowned the champions of the 2016 Four Continents competition.
