Dipendra of Nepal

Dipendra of Nepal, born on June twenty-seventh, nineteen seventy-one, ascended to the throne as King of Nepal for a mere three days, from June first to June fourth, two thousand one. His reign was marked by tragedy, as he was left in a coma following a catastrophic event that claimed the lives of his parents, King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya, along with other royal family members.

The incident, known as the Nepalese royal massacre, saw Crown Prince Dipendra identified as the perpetrator by an official investigation. However, the lack of a trial and the numerous unanswered questions surrounding the event have fueled ongoing speculation and intrigue regarding the true circumstances of that fateful night.

Dipendra's life came to a tragic end on June fourth, two thousand one, shortly after the massacre. His death led to the ascension of his paternal uncle, Gyanendra, who began his second reign as king.
