Fahadh Faasil

Abdul Hameed Mohammed Fahad Fazil, known professionally as Fahadh Faasil, is a prominent Indian actor and producer born on August 8, 1982. He primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil cinema and is celebrated for his versatile performances. Fahadh is regarded as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema, earning numerous accolades, including a National Film Award, four Kerala State Film Awards, and four Filmfare Awards South.

Fahadh's cinematic journey began at the age of twenty with his father's film, Kaiyethum Doorath, released in 2002. Although the film did not achieve commercial success, it marked the start of his career. After a seven-year hiatus, he made a remarkable comeback with the anthology Kerala Cafe in 2009, gaining recognition for his roles in the thrillers Chaappa Kurishu and Akam, both released in 2011, which earned him the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor.

His career continued to flourish with critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as 22 Female Kottayam, Diamond Necklace, and Annayum Rasoolum, all released in 2012 and 2013. Fahadh's performances in 22 Female Kottayam and North 24 Kaatham won him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Malayalam, while Artist and North 24 Kaatham secured him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor. He also starred in the hit film Bangalore Days in 2014, further solidifying his status in the industry.

Despite facing some box office setbacks, Fahadh consistently received praise for his work in films like Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Take Off, and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, the latter of which won him the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. His recent performances in Kumbalangi Nights, Malik, Vikram, and the upcoming Aavesham have garnered national attention, showcasing his enduring talent.

In addition to his acting career, Fahadh is a well-known celebrity endorser and philanthropist. He is married to actress Nazriya Nazim, and together they co-own the production company Fahadh Faasil and Friends, along with a digital entertainment venture named Bhavana Studios, in partnership with Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran.
