Flora Purim

Flora Purim, born on March sixth, nineteen forty-two, is a celebrated Brazilian jazz singer renowned for her contributions to the jazz fusion genre. Her remarkable career took flight as a prominent member of the influential band Return to Forever, alongside jazz legends Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke.

Throughout her illustrious journey, Purim has collaborated with a myriad of iconic artists, including the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Gil Evans, and Stan Getz. Her musical versatility shines through her performances with George Duke, Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, Santana, and Jaco Pastorius, as well as her husband, Airto Moreira, who has been a significant influence in her life and career.
