King Weilie of Zhou

Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of King Weilie of Zhou

King Weilie of Zhou, known by his personal name Ji Wu, was a significant monarch of the Zhou dynasty in ancient China. His reign commenced in four hundred twenty-five BC, following the death of his father, King Kao, and continued until his own passing in four hundred two BC.

During his time on the throne, King Weilie made strategic decisions that shaped the political landscape of his era. He established the feudal states of Han, Wei, and Zhao, which were created as a buffer between his royal domain and the powerful state of Qin, which was nominally one of his subject states.

King Weilie's legacy continued through his son, King An, who succeeded him. The actions taken during his reign had lasting impacts on the Zhou dynasty and its relations with neighboring states.
