King Kao of Zhou

King Kao of Zhou, known in Chinese as 周考王 (Zhōu Kǎo Wáng), was a significant figure in the Zhou dynasty of ancient China. Born Ji Wei, he ascended to the throne in four hundred forty BC, following the reign of his father, King Zhending. His rule lasted until four hundred twenty-six BC, a period marked by the challenges and complexities of governance during a transformative era.

As a monarch, King Kao's leadership was characterized by the continuation of the Zhou dynasty's legacy, navigating the intricate political landscape of his time.
