Shelden Williams

Shelden Williams, born on October twenty-first, nineteen eighty-three, is a distinguished American former professional basketball player and current basketball coach. Known affectionately by the nickname 'the Landlord', Williams made a significant impact during his college career with the Duke Blue Devils, where he showcased his exceptional skills on the court.

During his time at Duke, Williams earned the prestigious NABC Defensive Player of the Year Awards in both two thousand five and two thousand six. This remarkable achievement made him only the fifth player in history to receive this honor consecutively. His defensive prowess and tenacity were evident as he set records for career blocks, single-season blocks, and career rebounds at Duke, solidifying his legacy in the program.
