Sikandar Khan Lodi

Sikandar Khan Lodi, also known as Sikandar II, was born on July seventeenth, fourteen fifty-eight. He ascended to the throne as the Sultan of the Delhi Sultanate in fourteen eighty-nine, following the death of his father, Bahlul Khan Lodi. His reign lasted until fifteen seventeen, marking him as the second and most successful ruler of the Lodi dynasty.

During his time as Sultan, Sikandar II was not only a formidable politician but also a talented poet, composing a diwan of nine thousand verses in the Persian language. His literary contributions reflect the rich cultural tapestry of his era, showcasing his intellectual prowess alongside his political acumen.
