Alexandre de Beauharnais

Alexandre de Beauharnais, born on May twenty-eighth, seventeen sixty, was a prominent figure in the tumultuous era of the French Revolution. As a politician and military officer, he played a significant role in shaping the political landscape of France during a time of great upheaval.

Beauharnais is perhaps best known as the first husband of Joséphine Tascher de La Pagerie, who would later rise to prominence as the empress of France through her marriage to Napoleon Bonaparte.
