Charles III

Charles III, born on November 14, 1948, is the King of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms, having ascended to the throne on September 8, 2022. His journey began during the reign of his maternal grandfather, King George VI, and he became the heir apparent when his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, took the throne in 1952. Created Prince of Wales in 1958, his investiture took place in 1969, marking the beginning of his public life.

Educated at prestigious institutions such as Cheam School and Gordonstoun, Charles furthered his studies with a history degree from the University of Cambridge.
