Chris Smalling

Chris Smalling, born on November 22, 1989, is an accomplished English professional footballer who currently plays as a centre-back for Al-Fayha in the Saudi Pro League. His journey in football began at the Millwall academy, followed by a stint at Maidstone United, a non-League club, where he honed his skills before making a significant leap to the Premier League.

In June 2008, Smalling signed with Fulham, making his professional debut in May 2009. His time at Fulham was marked by a remarkable achievement as he helped the team reach the UEFA Europa League final in the subsequent season, showcasing his potential on a grand stage.

Smalling's career took a pivotal turn in January 2010 when he signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United, officially joining the club in July of the same year. He made an immediate impact, debuting in the 2010 FA Community Shield against Chelsea, where he earned his first career medal. Over the years, he made over three hundred appearances for the club, securing two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, a League Cup, a UEFA Europa League title, and two Community Shields.
