Dom Dwyer

Dom Dwyer, born on July 30, 1990, is a professional soccer player who currently plays as a forward for EFL League One club Mansfield Town. Originally hailing from England, Dwyer has also represented the United States national team, showcasing his dual heritage in the world of football.

His journey in soccer began in England, where he developed his skills at Norwich City as a youth player. In 2009, Dwyer made a pivotal move to the United States on a soccer scholarship, where he played for Tyler Junior College and later the South Florida Bulls, honing his talents further.

In 2012, Dwyer was drafted by Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer, marking the beginning of a successful professional career. He achieved significant success with the team, winning the MLS Cup in 2013. His career took another leap in 2017 when he joined Orlando City SC in a record transfer between two MLS clubs.

In March 2017, Dwyer became an American citizen, a milestone that allowed him to represent the U.S. national team. Later that year, he was called up for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, where he played a crucial role in helping the team secure the championship title.
