Edward the Exile

Edward the Exile, also known as Edward Ætheling, was born around the year one thousand sixteen. He was the son of King Edmund Ironside and Ealdgyth, a lineage that placed him in the heart of English royalty. However, his life took a dramatic turn following the defeat of his father by Cnut, which led to a life spent largely in exile.
