Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Émile Fortin

Émile Fortin, born on February eighteenth, eighteen seventy-eight, in Lévis, Quebec, was a multifaceted individual who made significant contributions as a politician, pharmacist, and physician. A graduate of Université Laval, he was an active member of the Medical Society of Quebec, showcasing his commitment to the medical profession.

Fortin's political career began with his election as a Conservative member of the House of Commons of Canada, representing the Lévis riding. His journey to Parliament was marked by determination, as he faced an unsuccessful campaign in the nineteen twenty-six federal election before securing victory in the nineteen thirty general election.

In addition to his role in the House of Commons, Fortin was appointed to the Senate for the De la Durantaye division in Quebec on August fourteenth, nineteen thirty-five. Unfortunately, his tenure was cut short due to health issues. He battled pneumonia starting in March of nineteen thirty-six, which ultimately led to a heart attack and his passing on May eighteenth of the same year at a Quebec City hospital.
