Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of John E. Sununu

John E. Sununu, born on September tenth, nineteen sixty-four, is a prominent American politician known for his impactful tenure in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. He represented New Hampshire in the House from nineteen ninety-seven to two thousand three, before moving on to the Senate, where he served from two thousand three until two thousand nine. Notably, he was the youngest member of the Senate throughout his entire six-year term.

A member of the Republican Party, Sununu hails from a politically active family. He is the son of John H. Sununu, a former governor of New Hampshire and White House Chief of Staff, and the older brother of Chris Sununu, who served as the governor of New Hampshire from two thousand seventeen to two thousand twenty-five.

In two thousand eight, Sununu faced a challenging re-election campaign and ultimately lost his seat to former governor Jeanne Shaheen. However, his political aspirations did not end there. In October twenty twenty-five, he announced his candidacy for the two thousand twenty-six Senate race, aiming to reclaim his former position. He is set to compete against Scott Brown in the Republican primary.
