John II of Aragon

John II of Aragon, known as 'el Sense Fe' or the Faithless, was born on June twenty-ninth, 1398. He ascended to the throne of Aragon in 1458, a position he held until his death in 1479. His reign was marked by significant political maneuvering and alliances that shaped the future of the region.

In addition to his role as King of Aragon, John II was also the husband of Queen Blanche I of Navarre. This union granted him the title of King of Navarre from 1425 until his passing in 1479. His dual kingship allowed him to influence both Aragon and Navarre, navigating the complexities of medieval politics.

Furthermore, John II's reign extended to Sicily, where he served as king from 1458 to 1468. His rule in these territories was characterized by efforts to consolidate power and maintain stability during a tumultuous period in European history.
