Julia Avita Mamaea

Julia Avita Mamaea was a prominent Syrian noblewoman, renowned for her influential role within the Severan dynasty. Born in the year one hundred eighty, she became a significant figure in Roman history as the mother of Emperor Alexander Severus.

Throughout her son's reign, Julia served as one of his chief advisors, guiding him through the complexities of governance and the challenges of leadership. Her political acumen and noble lineage positioned her as a key player in the imperial court.
