Khafre

Khafre, an ancient Egyptian monarch, reigned as the fourth king of the Fourth Dynasty during the early Old Kingdom period, approximately between two thousand seven hundred and two thousand two hundred BC. He was the son of the illustrious king Khufu and ascended to the throne following his brother Djedefre.

Notably, Khafre is best remembered for his monumental pyramid at Giza, known as the Pyramid of Khafre. This impressive structure is only surpassed in size by the Great Pyramid, built by his father. The grandeur of his pyramid reflects the architectural advancements of the time and the significance of royal tombs in ancient Egyptian culture.
