Lady Margaret Beaufort

As the mother of Henry VII, the first Tudor monarch, she played a crucial role in the political landscape of England. A second cousin to notable kings such as Henry VI, Edward IV, and Richard III, her lineage traced back to King Edward III, which granted her a disputed claim to the English throne.
