Linda Sánchez

Linda Sánchez, born on January twenty-eight, nineteen sixty-nine, is a prominent American politician and former labor lawyer. She has been serving as the U.S. representative for California's thirty-eighth congressional district since two thousand thirteen. A dedicated member of the Democratic Party, Sánchez first entered Congress in two thousand two, representing California's thirty-ninth congressional district.

Throughout her congressional career, Sánchez has held significant positions, including serving on the Ways and Means Committee. She was the ranking member of the House Ethics Committee until two thousand seventeen, showcasing her commitment to ethical governance. In the one hundred fourteenth Congress, she took on the role of chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, further amplifying the voices of Hispanic Americans in legislative matters.
