Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Lonzo Ball

Lonzo Ball, born on October 27, 1997, is an American professional basketball player who has made significant strides in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Known for his exceptional skills as a point guard, Ball first gained national attention during his high school career at Chino Hills High School, where he led his team to an impressive undefeated record of thirty-five wins and zero losses, earning multiple national player of the year honors.

After a standout senior year, Ball took his talents to the collegiate level, playing for the UCLA Bruins in the 2016-2017 season. He not only led the nation in assists but also set a new UCLA record for the most assists in a single season. His remarkable performance earned him the Wayman Tisdale Award, recognizing him as the top freshman in the country, and he was named a consensus first-team All-American.

In 2017, Ball was selected as the second overall pick in the NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. His rookie season was marred by injuries, limiting his playing time, but he still managed to earn a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2018. Following a trade to the New Orleans Pelicans, he played two seasons before joining the Chicago Bulls. Unfortunately, a persistent knee injury hindered his performance, causing him to miss the entirety of the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons.

Most recently, after the 2024-2025 season, Ball was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, continuing his journey in the NBA. Despite the challenges he has faced with injuries, his talent and determination remain evident as he strives to make a significant impact on the court.
