Oscar II, born on January twenty-first, eighteen twenty-nine, was a prominent monarch who ruled as King of Sweden from eighteen seventy-two until his death in nineteen oh seven, and as King of Norway from eighteen seventy-two to nineteen oh five. He ascended to the thrones following the untimely death of his brother, King Charles XV.

During his reign, Oscar II presided over a transformative era marked by significant industrialization and rapid technological advancements in both Sweden and Norway. This period was characterized by a burgeoning economy and societal changes that reshaped the lives of his subjects.
