Princess Isabelle of Orléans-Braganza

Princess Isabelle of Orléans-Braganza, born on August thirteenth, nineteen eleven, was a distinguished writer and a notable figure in royal circles. As a member of the House of Orléans-Braganza, she held the title of princess and became the consort of Henri, Count of Paris, the Orléanist claimant to the French throne.

Isabelle was the daughter of Pedro de Alcântara, Prince of Grão-Pará, who was a pretender to the now-defunct throne of the Empire of Brazil. This lineage connected her to the former Brazilian imperial family, enriching her royal heritage and influence.

Through her marriage, Princess Isabelle played a significant role in bridging the Brazilian and French royal houses. She became a prominent representative within Orléanist circles, particularly during the tumultuous twentieth century, where her presence was felt among exiled royals.
