Renée Zellweger

Renée Zellweger, born on April 25, 1969, in Texas, is a celebrated American actress known for her versatility across film and television. She initially pursued a degree in English literature at the University of Texas at Austin, where her passion for acting ignited after participating in stage productions. This newfound interest led her to transition from aspiring journalist to a prominent figure in Hollywood.

Zellweger's career took off with minor roles in films like Dazed and Confused (1993) and Reality Bites (1994). Her breakthrough came with the slasher film The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1995), followed by significant roles in the romantic comedy Jerry Maguire (1996), the drama One True Thing (1998), and the black comedy Nurse Betty (2000), the latter earning her a Golden Globe Award.
