Stephen Držislav

Stephen Držislav, born on the first day of the year one thousand, was a prominent figure in Croatian history, serving as King from AD 969 until his death around 997. As a member of the esteemed Trpimirović dynasty, he played a crucial role in shaping the early medieval state of Croatia.

Throughout his reign, Stephen held various titles that reflected his significant authority and influence, including reges, dux magnus, patriarch, and eparchi.
