Uddhav Thackeray

Uddhav Thackeray, born on July twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty, is a prominent Indian politician known for his significant contributions to Maharashtra's political landscape. He served as the 19th Chief Minister of Maharashtra from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-two, during which he also held the position of Leader of the House in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

As a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council since two thousand twenty, Thackeray has been a pivotal figure in the state's governance. He has been the president of the Maha Vikas Aghadi since two thousand nineteen and took on the role of president of Shiv Sena (UBT) in two thousand twenty-two. His leadership journey within Shiv Sena began as the working President from two thousand three to two thousand thirteen, and he later became the party's leader, or pramukh, from two thousand thirteen until two thousand twenty-two.

In addition to his political roles, Thackeray served as the editor-in-chief of Saamana, a Marathi newspaper, from two thousand six to two thousand nineteen. His tenure as Chief Minister was marked by a notable achievement, as he was ranked the most popular Chief Minister in a survey conducted across thirteen states in India.
