Abas I of Armenia

Abas I of Armenia, a prominent figure in the Bagratid royal dynasty, ruled as king from nine hundred twenty-eight to nine hundred fifty-three. He was born to Smbat I and was the brother of Ashot II the Iron, whom he succeeded on the throne. His reign marked a significant departure from the tumultuous periods that characterized the rule of his predecessors.
